i was walking around downtown Annapolis (Maryland) this morning, i live in Baltimore, and i saw a 960 roll by but it looked a little different. it looked really big and when i took a closer look at the back, i saw a "ROYAL" badge in the same lettering that "TURBO" normally is. (at first sight, thats what i thought it said).
what makes a 960 ROYAL? i'd assume a lot of fancy luxurious items. what about the engine? n/a or turbo? 12 valve or 24 valve? anything else special? i'm a 240turbo guy so i've never heard of a ROYAL before i saw this one.
edit:
to add to this, i saw a lot of nice turbos down in annapolis as well as an early single round headlight dark red 242. i rarely see many turbos or early (pre-240) volvos up here in baltimore. i saw a light blue 1800S in town today actually, but thats a once a month occurence. other than that, its base model 240 wagons galore. its almost sickening.
