ok, finally got someone to help me during the day so I could see the hose. Had someone turn the wheel while running so I could see where the leak is. Turns out it was in the middle of the hose and came out like a squirt gun aimed right on the header. Problem solved with a 50 buck replacement hose from Advance Auto, they know me by name now.

Crappy Volvo hoses, only last 18 years??? What gives, it's not like it had the heat of a header to bake it to a crisp....jeez
