Intermittant engine cut out 200 1990

Not sure if this is related to my temperature gauge not reading properly.

While slowing down for a red light the engine just died (happened twice in a two hour time frame), she easily started up with a turn of the key and everything was fine. It's hard to say but after she stalled, I think that is when the temp guage fired back up again...

This past weekend I changed the rotor, cap, and wires. Cleaned the contacts of the AMM (they were really corroded) and the she ran ALOT better than before. There is still a little "shake" in the engine, almost like a short stutter, I want to smooth it out but I don't know what to do next. I was thinking the O2 sensor since it has 160k miles on it, I know I can test it but would replacing it make sense? I am assuming the sensor is original. K&N filter needs to be cleaned, maybe she's not getting enough air?

I've had the car now for about a month and don't know much history on it, I plan on cleaning the throttle body in a few weeks and doing some more "general" maintenance procedures on her just to have some sort of records baseline. Any thoughts about getting the "shake" out of the engine at idle?
