NGK BPR6EGP(G-power platinums) vs VX platinums??? 700 1990

Local store(Can Tire) has sale for G-power ngk platinums which is considerably cheaper than the VX plat.Any difference?
The Ngk regular BPR6ES are about the same price as platinums.Why not choose plat. for same price!!!I have used Bosch plat which are cheaper than the NGK regular plugs with good result,5 yrs no deterioaration in plugs.
