Three weeks ago, when I pushed the cruise control button (at the end of the turn signal lever), the cruise control would come on only once in a while. That is, in about one out of six button pushes, it would come on. Or it would not come on at all that day. Then a day or two later it would come on again either immediately or one out of six or seven times.
Finally, two weeks ago, it stopped working completely. I am not familiar with the cruise control mechanism. Any ideas on trouble shooting the problem?
(Note: All attempts to turn on the cruise control were made at speeds of at least 45-55 mph, and yes, the slide switch on turn signal lever was in the "on" position.) Thanks.
