What to offer for a bizarre Volvo Turbo? 200

This guy wants $500 for it. He's been trying to sell it since at least April.

Here's what he said:

**************************

have a 1982 volvo (Gas not diesel) that overheated last summer. The
following was done; the head was Rebuilt ( machined) ( $800), had new
turbo installed ($695), New radiator, new motor for sunroof, replaced
exhaust manifold, new heater switch, injector flush, all new belts,
altenator replaced. $ 3,000 dollars worth of work. The car is straight, looks nice, with nice tires and wheels. Interior is ruff. The lower end has bad rod knock. Have receipts.

This is really a great deal, this car has the extra gauges, new radiator,
turbo, remachined head, 4 speed transmission with overdrive etc. I have
the hood just laying over the engine with no springs attached because
engine is out of car.

**************************

Now, the picture I included shows a NON-TURBO GRILLE. I actually happen to have a Turbo Grille in my garage, but that seems to be a warning sign. From the looks of one of the pictures, it also seems as though it was in a big crash because the panel coloring seems to be off.

http://skylab.org/~ryan/volvo/ shows you the pictures I have.

I have a wonderful 82 244DL with crap wheels. I like the looks of those wheels. But then again, I have Virgo rims that need tires.

Now, how much is this thing REALLY worth?

I don't even know if I should bother. If someone else in the Oregon/SW Washington area is interested, I'll pass his info onto you....
