manual transmission - 2nd gear 700 1989

I have 1989 740 turbo wagon manual transmission, that has a problem with second gear. This problem mnifests when driving in second gear without pressing on the accelerator the transmission will disangage from second gear, however, if I press on gas pedal transmission will stay in gear as long as ther is accceleration. This is the only gear that this occurs.
Anyone has any idea what might be a problem and what is the remedy.
