Can anyone suggest a good place to mount a cup holder in the cockpit. I have looked at the flimsy ones that the clip slides between the inside of the window and the door, but I am afraid I will spill coffee all over the side of my face when I stand on it.

I was then thinking about the little flat spot in the carpet right by each front seat, but low and behold the rear of the cabin gets its cold/hot air by ducts that run here, hence the need for a bulge in the carpet, making the flat spot.

How many Volvo engineers were on vacation when they got to cup holder design anyway? I am currently looking into a trailer hitch and small trailer so I can have a place to put my morning coffee on my commute into work.

Any suggestions are appreciated, except "put it up your (*&$"
