How to Break-in a new engine? 200 1983

Bricksters:
GREAT NEWS!!! I am about to take in my son's 83 245 (240K miles) tomorrow for an engine transplant. Rebuilt B23 (new rings, bearings seals, water pump, timing belt, etc).
After the engine is installed, what is the best way to break in the new rings, etc?
How many miles until it is considered broken-in? What speed, rpms, would you do to make sure the engine is going to last?
Gracias,
el Raidman
