Overdrive Kickout-Part III 700

Whoops, posted the first one empty. Anyway, a follow up on overdrive problems with my 1987 740 GLE Manual trans wagon.
I had reported two problems. One, intermittant failure to engage overdrive, and two, intermittant loss of overdrive (momentary) while driving. Both problems appear to be solved, and thanks to all who responded.
The first problem solved by removing the od relay and resoldering. There were at least three suspect contacts.
The second problem solved by removing, cleaning and tightening the spade connectors at the od solanoid. The connector on the ground side was definately loose, and both were very dirty. Going on five days now of working perfectly, and I'm greatly relieved. Love this board.
