Gotta get some attention on this board somehow, the word idle just didn't seem to drum up any answers!!!

Hi all, I have a 84 760 Ti 360,000 Km. When running my car in now sunny Victoria, BC, for the first 5 - 10 minutes it idles perfectly at 1000rpm's. Once the car warms up, it likes to idle at 1500rpm's. At a set of lights I can put the car in nuetral rev it up and the rpms's will drop down to a 1000 then slowly (5 seconds) rise back up to 1500. What is causing this, I was thinking sticky throttle cable, but how it creeps back up, changed my mind. Could it be the TPS or the ICV. Any ideas would be appreciated, TIA. Grant.

PS - Car is well maintained by me

just picked up a edelbrock vera-jection water injection kit from a swap meet for 20 bucks, can't wait to install it with increased boost.
