240 caliper bolt replacement 200 1990

I have a 240 DL wagon with vented discs, no ABS. I need to replace the lug bolts
and the front disc/rotors. The Bentley repair book states replacing the caliper mounting bolts is essential for safety, when I take the front calipers off.
I am not replacing the calipers but they must be removed to get off the
hub/rotor. the local parts stores ,here in Austin Tx, dont carry them and the dealer ,R beasley does not have them in stock.
Are different brand of rotors/discs better? Brembo, ATE, Balo?
