Help! Headlights are out! 900 1993

Came out to the car after dinner at a local restaurant and my headlights would not come on. I checked the 3 fuses I assumed would be associated with the headlights and they were all fine. The high beams function when I pull in the stalk but I have no low beams and no constant high beams.
My buddy who was with me owns a 240 and says he had once replaced the switch for the headlights. What do you folks think?
