My crank pulley is out of alignment with the accessories pulleys. I got the car this way, and after new cylinder head I could not align water pump, power steering and a/c pulleys with crank pulley! My mech who has about 10yr experience with volvos is stumped. He questioned whether the crank shaft itself was replaced with a b230? We got a crank puley from a salvage yard from a b234f and it appeared the same. The pulley, when mounted seemed to be about 1/2" back to far, so that first belt groove is into the timing belt cover. I have run the car this way, by pulling a water pump pulley from a diesel volvo. But the acc belts wear out quickly with this setup. any comments? answers out there?
