Warped brake rotors!? 200 1984

I just recently started noticing a squeaking noise coming from the front of my car while rolling that stopped temporarily when I applied the brakes. Also, my brakes squeal like a banshee when I try to stop. Upon inspection, it appears that my front rotors are warped. I didn't have time to check the rears yet. Anyway, my point here is; why is this happening already? I just got new pads and rotors less than 10000 miles ago.

On a related note, what are people's opinions on the ATE slotted rotors that IPD offers? Are they worth it? Thanx.
