'88 240 won't stay running 200

My '88 240 won't stay running. It will run for about 10 minutes and then quit. I thought it might be a bad 02 sensor so I disconnected that; still quits after the 10 minutes. It shouldn't be a bad temp switch in the air cleaner since the heat pipe is missing. I have no ideas left.
