recovered my '67 1800 w/o powerplant; need input 1800

yeah; i got my old 1800 back, still w/o any drivetrain. have had a small amount of success running down the windshield i need, but due to the 2 more years of exposure now i need a whole dashboard. i KNEW i should have kept the car all along.. actually, the 1800 is relegated to the far back burner due to the existing Falcon projects i was working on. right now i'm back to collecting parts and information to prepare for doing the volvo correctly..... or maybe not; since i have a couple of spare ford 302 v8's lying around. we have some good volvo shops in town(charleston sc) and i asked around about using a b230 engine in the 1800 and didn't get much useful info; mostly scolding about wasting an 1800 and locating a b18/b20 engine. fat chance around here! while they were plentiful in years past, they have gone the way of the dodo in these whereabouts.well, i'm looking forward to hearing from anybody with something to add to the mix; so feel free to give me some input.
