1990 240 Restart Problem 200 1990

Hi, I have a 240 (no turbo) with 150,000 I have a problem when trying
to restart after it has been running for a while, it will restart if I
press the pedal about half way and hold it, but it will stall again when
I release the pedal. I recently had a tune up but this didn't correct the
problem. This only happens in hot weather. Thanks in advance!
