mysterious leak near mixture control unit on a B21FT?!??! 200 1984

I just noticed this the other day... i hope someone can give me a hand diagnosing this one.

Everytime I drive my '84 245 intercooled-turbo, I seem to get a light thin film of a liquid on top of the airbox. I am not too sure about what the liquid is, but i sincerely doubt that it's gasoline. The wagon still runs like a top. I also changed out the air filter & hose coming from the PCV.

What could this liquid be? What is a good remedy for this? Should i be concerned with this at all?

I really appreciate all your help. Thanks for all your help :)
