I just got a 1980 240 DL, with a good cleaning and a little tuning it's shaping up quite nicely after 2 years of storage. I finished up my manifild gaskets today and finally hear how she's doing. She seems to be idling beautifully but there's a metallic howl coming from somewhere. I've only heard this before on my 82, 242 Turbo. What might this be on a non turbo car?
