Transmission Trouble 200 1988

My 1988 245 has a problem only when the car is hot. After driving for a while if I shut off the car for 2 minutes and then start it up, when I put it in drive and start to accelerate there is a hesistation and then the rear of the car cluncks and then it goes.

I recently had the seal and bushing replaced on the transmission and I think that they overfilled the fluid, as the dipstick is being poped out all the time.

Could this cause the problem?
What else could it be?
