Guys,
Will a coolant temp sensor from a 1974 164E fit my 1971 142E? It is about a 15 mile drive to the parts car, so I thought I would post this before I drove over there. I know I should buy a new one, but the parts store wants $30, and I can have the one from the 164 for free. Will it work? This is the one that threads into the cyl head for the fuel injection.
