Temp Gauge Indications After Temp Comp Board Bypass 200

So on Ol' Blue I finally tired of the erratic temp gauge indications and did the the temp compensation board bypass trick (i.e. - soldering a jumper between pins #1 and #3. My question is - what is the gauge swing noticed by other "boarders" that have done the same? At normal cruise (60 mph - A/C off) she runs at about the 8:30 position. In stop and go traffic, A/C on, she runs at about the 10:00 position. Haven't seen her climb any higher, even just idiling with the A/C on on 90+ days. How does that compare to what others are seeing?
Thanks,
RP
