New tranny in.. car moves.. bring da' noise.. Loud Whining/Whirring comming from tranny 200

Ok so I put in the tranny/torque converter from this other 260 my friend had into my bertone because mine was messed up.. I got everthign in finally and it runs and drives.. after the first lap or 2 around the block I heard this whine kinda like what a turbo on its way out sounds like.. Its coming from around the tourqe converter.. i was gonna drain the fluid and drop the pan and clean it out since this is the first time fluid has circulated through the tranny in 10 years.. what is causing the noise and how bad is it? If I clean out all the junk in the tranny and still hear that noise then what could it be.. also if it has something to do with the tourque converter is the car still driveable.. i don't really care as long as this car works long enough for me to get my 350 and the other parts I need for the v8 swap. SO What is the problem and what how long can I expect it to work if it continues to make that noise.. the noise increases with rpm and with the car still.. the bently book for 240s said that its somethign to do with the tourque converter or parts around that area.. even though I have a 262 coupe I figured tranny problems are tranny problems.. so that book is still hella usefull...

I'm not about to take that tranny out again so this is why i need to know how long i can expect it to run with it making that noise.. cuz the car moves and goes.. my speedometer doesn't work but i'll check it out and see whut the deal is.
