1990 760 GLE V6 B280F My probem is that engine cuts out when slowing or stopping at intersection or parking etc.This happens at varied intervals from 0ne or more weeks to months. There is a spark at plug leads and the fuel rail appears to have good pressure judged by way fuel gushes out.Car will not restart untill about 35to45 minutes wait.Once started will continue to run perfectly untill next repeat occurrence. Except for this the car starts instantly runs well plenty of power acceleration etc.This problem first occurred Nov 2001 car the ran OK till FEB 02 before stopping again, Since then i have resoldered Fuel Relay Radio suppressor relay and since fitted a new Fuel Relay and Ignition power amplifier.I have not replaced crank angle/RPM sensor as Volvo dealer and Auto electician say that this will either fail or work but won't work again after failing ! and neither can trace the fault unless the engine stops and stays stopped, as once the engine starts again thee is no fault showing.
