High beams only 900 1994

When I went to turn on the lights tonight on my 94-940 nothing happened. I have parking lights (front and rear) but turn the headlight switch for headlights and the instrument panel lights and the running lights go off. If you pull the high/low beam switch you will get brights. I read the post on testing the bulb out relay but I am still confused. I think the problem is in the headlight relay-any ideas on how to test this?-Thanks-Dave F.
