Vibration at High Speed 900

Hey Everyone-

I know the simple answer is probably just wheel balance and rotation, but I wanted to get some other opinions on the topic. Here's the scoop.

I hadn't driven my car on the highway for about three weeks. All mostly local suburbia driving. So I noticed a slow leak in my front left tire. Took it to a garage, said it was leaking around the rim, they fixed it. Then went on the highway for the first time in awhile and noticed the car started to shake at speeds above 50. It would shake for a little while, stop... shake again.... stop. And so on. Thought maybe the mechanic did a bad job putting the tire back on... but he chekced his bolts etc., looked tight and in order. So... is this just a simple answer or the foreshadowing of something more complicated? Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much!

Richard
