Can't Shift out of Park, will not go into 4th (Automatic) 200 1993

I own a 1993 240, wagon.

It's been great however just this week it will not let me shift out of park. I need to use the override button to get it out of gear. Once out of park I can freely choose any gear.

Once the car is running (in Drive) it does not want to shift up to 4th gear. Also the downshift button on the gear shift is not working.

Any ideas,
