Front Brakes Squealing 700 1989

Hey Volvo Fanatics,

I've got a minor problem with my brakes. About a month ago I went and bought replacement pads front and rear and rear rotors (the old ones were pretty chewed up). So I goto replace the pads and rotors on the rear... no problem... pads were down to bare metal and rotors went to hell. Then I begin work on the front only to notice the owner before me already had these done... they had just about full life left on them. So I think to myself... well might as well just return the front pads to the store and not worry. Well a week later... go figure... the fronts start squealing when coming to a complete stop. Not to mention I began to notice some rubbing on the right front... but that should be an easy fix.

Lastly... one more question before I run... what about spongey brakes... is there anything you can do about that? I pretty much have to push the pedal to the floor or pump the brakes to get them to work (ABS).... any ideas?

Any Ideas or Suggestions on either problem?!?!? Pleeez :)

Thanks Bunches Guys... You've always been great... I just wish I could help you guys more!!

Joe Doherty
