My 88 tic wagon was idling poor when it was cold so I pulled the idle air control valve and found it was full of oil so I cleaned it out and the car idled fine. I pulled the intake hoses and found a thick film of oil so I pulled all the turbo and intake hoses and cleaned them out, drove the car and the oil returned. The car doesnt consume much oil, about a pint between changes every 2500 miles and it doesn't smoke. Could it be the intake side of my turbo seal is bad? The turbo works great should I just leave it alone or is there a way to replace this seal without tearing down the whole tubo?
Thanks for your help!! this site rulz
