trailer hitch & wiring harness 900

I've got a 91 940 GLE wagon that I would like to put a trailer hitch on. Its a small trailer (5x4) that will be used to haul 2 kayaks. Its a light trailer & a light load.

My questions are:
Has anyone put a hitch on their wagon?
Is it a do it yourself job?
Where did you find a hitch, and did it fit well?
Do you need one of those adaptors for the light harness, or can you tap right into the tail lights directly?
