Got the head off of my B6304 900 1996

This is the ongoing report of posts that started with buying advice, then finding the perfect 964, then losing the serpentine belt (followed by the timing belt), and now exploring the engine and returning it to perfect 964 status again.

After taking the head off I have found 12 bent intake valves, the exhaust values are fine. One valve seat is busted and all the pistons have two-millimeter dimples from where they kissed the valves. To any of you who have done these jobs before, is this (the pistons) anything to be concerned about? The integrity of the pistons is fine, but I wonder if it creates hot spots or anything.

Thanks,

Zach ('89 744GL, '96 964)
