I have a 1991 245se, and the car has 142K, and when I start the car up in the morning the engine sounds like a quiet disiel engine. Then after the car warms up, it sonds fine. But it is that very faint sound that makes me think, what is causing that? Or is it normal for a b230f engine with that many miles to do that? Should i just ignore the sound and go on my happy way?
