Engine Stuter only braking on hill going down..... 900

After picking my wife from her work there is a slight hill going down and the car stuters while im braking to a stop. I have to put it in nuetral just to get the shaking out of the car. While im driving in normal flat road, it does not do that. Any idea why that happens?. I am changing my spark plugs, fuel filter, Tensioner $144. and idler bearing $44. and serpantine belt.
