Radiator fan installation details required 200

Hi all,

Weather is peaking this weekend in Norway. Getting close to 90F so I was planning to carry out the long planned electical radiator fan upgrade.

Just some basic questions:

-I was planning on using a SAAB 9000 electric fan (junkyard), I understand they have a good fit and they are plenty available down here. Are there any other good (european of Japanese) alternatives, Merc, BMW?

-What about the electrical circuit? Where best to fit the [Saab] thermal switch, is there a threaded hole I can use on the engine, do I need to use the org temp sensor with some basic electronics and relay? Or do I need to make an stainless adaptor piece to fit in the hoses (rad in or out?)

Any other tips are much appriciated
