...last night I was able to remove two of the injectors and they are not firing.

I was able to fire the cold start injector with a jumper wire to the battery and the car started right up.

And I was able to verify that, once the system pressurized, WHILE I was trying start the car, fuel would begin to flow back to the tank via the return line.

I did also check that when I would loosen one of the injector lines from the "fuel distributor" there was no signs of any pressure as fuel would just barely leak out and it was not like when I would loosen the fuel line to the cold start valve and fuel would spray out from the fitting indicating a very high back pressure.

Other than the thermo-time switch is there any other control feature that would prevent the cold start valve from turning on?

If there is, is there any other electrical feature of the "fuel distributor" that could not be operating properly.

If not, then I suppose the faulty cold start circuit is a different problem and I must have blockage in the fuel distributor or the fuel distributor is faulty.

I guess I am down to troubleshooting the fuel distributor.

Has anyone ever worked on one of these? It seems like it is going to be a bear to remove and that it may be easier to remove the intake first to get to it.

Does anyone know of a failure mode of the fuel distributor that would prevent any pressure from getting to the injectors?

Anyone got one on a parts car? (the car is non Turbo)?

Any info on the repair and/or replacement and fault modes of the fuel distributor will be greatly appreciated.

I guess I'll begin disassembly of the unit unless someone can tell me of a circuit or something else to check that may affect the operation of the fuel distributor.
