Hello Bricksters:
Recently installed a used Voltmeter in my 93 245. It reads 13-14 volts at 2500 rpm, but when I turn on the headlights or the A/C it only reads 11-12 volts.
Is my alternator OK?
Would replacing the brushes or the regulator be in order?
Anyone have good luck with rebuilt alternators? ( I can get a rebuilt Bosch on my Dad's account for $65).
Maybe I should have kept to just having the idiot light???
