How can you tell for sure wether or not a 700 has nivomats fitted to the rear???

I'm not sure if my fathers 85 760 Turbo has them or not, all the info around goes on and on about them and the conversion, but never really gives you a solid way to tell if your car has them or not.

Also, does anyone have a recomendation on a good value replacment for the front strut inserts on the 760 turbo?
Something that won't break the bank yet work at least as good as the original shocks, and live up to the semi performance image of the car.
