Parking Brake Adjustment 200 1993

Is it as easy as the Bentley manual makes it out to be? It looks like I can reach that bolt through the removable "box" and avoid taking the whole thing apart. Is that right? Finally, how much turning will it need if it currently just begins to engage at the top of the pull?

Thanks. Long trip and I want to have the backup working in case something goes horribly wrong. :)
