IPD Lowering Springs in snow?? 900 1993

I am contemplating buying the IPD Sport Springs for my 1993 945 Turbo when I replace the shock/struts. Anyone ever drive these in the snow? What I'm worried about is the reduced 1" of ground clearance. I live just South of Buffalo, NY. We can get some bad winters down here. Any comments? BTW I run Gislaved Nord Frost snow tires and have never gotten stuck, yet. My car is so much more fun to drive and predictable than my wifes 1998 Contour in the white stuff!!
