Well guys, I have not talked to any of you here for awhile, been busy with another project of mine and have not had time to work on the old volvo. So I send her off to the only Volvo certified shop in the area with good hopes they would be able to fix the blown head gasket easier than I could.

Well, I guess I was wrong. Four weeks go buy, I had given them a car that ran good despite the head being cracked in 19 places, they give me a car that runs like crap, AND burns oil.

Needless to say, I'm furious about the entire thing. They RUINED my car, these idiots left the window open during a rain storm and RUINED the leather interior. And most of all, the RUINED my turbo as well!

Not to mention the breeched the verbal agreement we had of 600 bucks for the job, replaced things which did not need to be replaced and did all of this without EVER calling me to okay it with me.

I'm not even sure the turbo IS bad, it's what they claim. So lets go over what the car does.

When I gave it to them, it didn't even burn oil (like 1/4th of a qt every 3k miles) I get it back and it burns off 1 1/2 qt's in two miles! So it's dumping oil RIGHT into the engine. Oddly enough, it does not smoke at idle. It only smokes when you push down on the throttle.

They claim the turbo has blown the seals and is pushing oil up, through the intercooler and into the engine. make sense?

Anyone have any ideas on what is wrong? I'm going to the shop with a lawyer tomorrow, I'll take my car back provided they EAT the entire bill. Or they can fix it properly, but personally I do not trust them and really wish I would have just done the job myself.
