No Start diagnosis 200 1986

Need help figuring out why this B230F n/a won't start. Manual transmision.

Charging system checks out O.K. Have spark all the way to spark plugs. Engine cranks fine, but won't start.

Cannot hear main fuel pump run momentarily with ignition switch in ON position, but have jumped the circuit and both pumps do run. Fuses are O.K. Swapped in a known good fuel pump relay, but engine didn't atart.

Will be replacing broken 25 AMP fuse holder.

Recent timing belt and camshaft does turn with engine cranking. New alternator. Fuel systems grounds are O.K.


Suspect fuel delivery problem, but not sure.

Any ideas? 700/900 FAQ didn't seem to answer things.

Will check voltage to main fuel pump.
