Recently, the sunroof on my '91 945T started working intermittantly. Being lazy and cheap I was looking for a way to avoid replacing the switch. So, as I did once before with my '93 245 power window switch, I sprayed WD-40 into the switch figuring I had nothing to lose, but the switch. Lo and behold the switches all started working again. WD-40 is dielectric, meaning it conducts electricity and it also displaces water and loose crud. I used it a long time ago when 4 wheeling with my Land Rover. A friend soaked his distributor crossing a stream and the Rover stalled. We removed the distibutor cap, wiped it out and sprayed WD-40 into the cap, the Rover stalled immediately. No I don't own stock in the company. Any thoughts?
