Fuel Economy and O2 sensor change 900 1992

For those of you that asked, I'm posting the fuel economy difference I noticed on my recent trip after changing my 02 sensor. I didn't end up towing the boat (my parents kindly offered to do so with the motorhome) so my numbers are more accurate than they would have been. Ok...1000 mile round-trip from L.A., to Lake Don Pedro, to Sacramento, to S.F., back to L.A. Most driving was on I-5 (very flat highway through CA's central valley). Speed varied from 75-100mph on the highway. I averaged about 25mpg during the trip. This is probably about 1mpg better than I used to get at the same speeds. The car also has a noticeably smoother idle and improved throttle reponse. I'm sure my sensor was pretty much dead, though, at 160K miles.
