I have read the FAQ regarding bleeding brakes but have questions regarding the procedure to retract and bleed off the calipers.
Do I first clamp off and open the bleeder then retract the calipers and then close off the bleeder and upclamp then second bleed the rest of the line. Or bleed the line first then the calipers?
Second - the FAQ mentions removing the fluid reservoir - does this need to be drained first or is there some kind of valve in the bottom to prevent fluid from running out when taken off?
Lastly, can the calipers be retracted while on the car or must they be removed?
Thanks very much
