Thanks to all of you that responded with advice regarding my extended warranty on my 940. I decided to read the contract myself, and then send a copy to my previous employer (attorney) and we both came up with the same conclusions. The car is covered, regardless of who owns the car. In fact the contract only references the policy holder (my mother) and the vin of the vehicle, no references to the driver, owner etc..
So in conclusion I'm covered, the warranty is paid up, and if they ever refuse to honor it they're in for a lawsuit. Helps when said previous employer is a cousin ;). Again thanks I can now concentrate on my road trip which I'm extremely excited about. This trip is actually for my honeymoon. I'm driving from Chicago, Il. to Miami, Fl. staying there for 4 days then on to a 10 day cruise.
Any advise for the road trip? places to see, eat, visit etc. I can make the drive in about 20 hours but I'm taking my time as this is my wife's first "long" roadtrip.
Thanks again guys, this site is great.
