Starts and immediately stops 200 1988

Greetings,

I'm lookin for some help here. My '88 240DL let me down this morning and I was forced to drive my wife's 89 760T to work, so you know the pressure I'm under...

My 240 has 407,000 original miles and I'm thinking the problem is fuel delivery - fuel pump, fuel pump relay, in-tank fuel pump. The car drove home last night and was idling a little rough during the last 5-10 miles, but I need to clean the throttle body, so I didn't think anything more about it.

I have a multimeter, Bentley's and tools. I'm very appreciative of any guidance and suggestions.

Muchas Gracias,

Stormie
88 240DL + 89 760T = 634,000 miles
