Not a Volvo question but can someone help - Nissan P/U Tranny Flush 900

I recently flushed the Tranny fluid in my 95 940 and now want to do the same for my 90 Nissan KingKab. However the Haynes manual requires dropping the pan since no drain hole exists. Dealer wants $$$ and I don't want a mess.

Has anyone had experience flushing the tranny in the same manner as 700/900s. My truck also has a tranny cooler but the lines are at the bottom and I cannot determine which would be the return line.

If all else fails I might try and pump out the filler tube and do the rinse and spit method a few times.

I wish my truck was as easy to work on as my volvo.
