My first stop was the FAQ, as I can usually find what I need there. However, the issue I am faced with does not match the patterns seen in previous problems. Here's what happens:
The car will start OK in the mornings. It fires strong, then the idle dips momentarily to 400-500 RPM before settling in at ~900. This I can live with. But as of late, it has been very hesitant to re-start after sitting for 2-3 hours. It will once again fire strong, but will only get to ~500 RPM before dying. Never any long periods of cranking needed for it to turn over. This will occur 10-15 times before it starts.
Also, short periods between restarts do not seem to effect it. For the sake of curiosity I shut the car down for five minutes on my way home yesterday, after about 20 minutes of driving. It fired up perfectly after this short break, and just started "normally" 15 minutes ago in the driveway.
I seem dont think it is a fuel dilivery issue b/c of how easy it turns over, but past that really have no ideas. Anyone? Thanks.
