New IPD 2.5 exhaust/ Performance cam? 900 1992

I just had installed new 2.5 pipe on my brick. My question is does this decrease fuel mileage under normal driving conditions because my brick is throwing out more exhaust? Second ? is..has anyone installed performance cam? Is it worth the money? And how is the fuel consumption with new cam?
